The Governor of Tehran visits the Governor of Erbil

On Sunday night, April 27, 2025, Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian, the Governor of Tehran, accompanied by a number of members of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran, visited Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, at his place of stay.

In a meeting, which was attended by the head of relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the staff of the Kurdistan Regional Government representation in Tehran, and the head of the Haji Omaran International Border Crossing, the Governor of Tehran, in addition to welcoming, expressed his happiness regarding the visit of the Governor of Erbil to Tehran, the capital, and his participation in the (Iran-Expo 2025) exhibition.
 

For his part, the Governor of Erbil thanked the Governor of Tehran for his visit and emphasized the further strengthening of relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He also conveyed his condolences and sympathy regarding the recent incident in Bandar Abbas and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
