Governor of Erbil and Iranian Minister of Industry Met

Today, Monday, April 28, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and Seyed Mohammad Etbak, Minister of Industry of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of the 7th Exhibition of Iranian Exporters, "Iran Expo 2025", discussed the development of relations between the two sides in the fields of trade and industry.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Head of Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Head of the Haji Omaran International Border Crossing, and the Deputy Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Tehran, both sides emphasized the necessity of joint work to develop trade and industrial relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
They also agreed that the Kurdistan Region is an important area and that through more investment and suitable planning, it can supply an important part of the needs of the markets of Iraq and the region.
