The Governor of Erbil and the Governor of Qazvin Meet for the First Time

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, along with an accompanying delegation, visited Qazvin Province as part of his official trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran. He was welcomed by Mohammad Nozari, the Governor of Qazvin, along with his deputies and other senior officials of the city.

During the meeting, the Governor of Qazvin warmly welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of strengthening the ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighting the need to boost commercial exchanges between Erbil and Qazvin.

For his part, the Governor of Erbil reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the bilateral relations and enhancing trade exchanges. He expressed hope for greater cooperation and coordination with the esteemed officials, aiming to establish the necessary frameworks, venues, and mechanisms to further advance commercial and industrial relations between Erbil and Qazvin.
He then officially invited the Governor of Qazvin to visit Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. In response, the Governor of Qazvin gratefully accepted the invitation.
