Erbil Governorate Delegation Returns to Kurdistan Region

On Friday evening, May 2, 2025, following his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and his accompanying delegation returned to the Kurdistan Region.
During his visit, he participated in the Iran Expo 2025 exhibition and conducted a series of important meetings and discussions with the Vice President, Deputy Foreign Minister, Minister of Industry, and the Governors of Tehran, Qazvin, Zanjan, and Urmia (West Azerbaijan). He also met with a number of other parliamentarians, presidents and members of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, merchants, and businessmen, and visited the cities of Shno (Oshnavieh) and Khane (Piranshahr).

At the Tamarchin - Haji Omaran international border crossing, the delegation was bid farewell by a number of parliamentarians, other senior officials, and representatives from both the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, before returning to the Kurdistan Region.
