Erbil… Farewell ceremony for Indian Consul General

On Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, participated in the farewell ceremony for Madan Gopal, Consul General of India in Erbil, which was organized on the occasion of the end of his assignment.

During the ceremony, attended by a number of Kurdistan Region officials, consuls, and representatives of countries, the Governor of Erbil highly valued Madan Gopal's role in developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and India, and wished him success in his new assignment.
 

For his part, the Indian Consul General expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Erbil for attending the ceremony and reiterated the significance of the ties and friendship between the Kurdistan Region and India.
