Erbil… Kurdistan-Canada Business Council Officially Launched

This evening, Monday, June 2, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, participated in the official inauguration ceremony of the Kurdistan-Canada Business Council.
 


During the ceremony, which was attended by a number of Kurdistan Regional Government officials, the Ambassador of Canada in Iraq, and several other businessmen and entrepreneurs, The focus was placed on the council's goals: to build a strong business connection and identify more investment opportunities between the Kurdistan Region and Canada. Its purpose is also to back the KRG's initiatives aimed at expanding Canadian business and investment, thereby contributing to the further development of relations between both sides.
