Erbil... Erbil Governor welcomes Patriarch Mor Aphrem III

Today, Saturday, July 19, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Ano Jawhar, the Minister of Transport and Communications, and the Director-General of Christian Affairs at the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs, welcomed a delegation from the Syriac Orthodox Church led by His Holiness Patriarch Mor Aphrem III.
 

The aforementioned delegation visited the capital, Erbil, to participate in the funeral ceremony for the late Archbishop Mor Gregorios Saliba Shimoun.
