Prime Minister Welcomes a Delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran

Today, Monday, July 28, 2025, Masrour Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, welcomed a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Reza Rahmani, the Governor of West Azerbaijan (Urmia).
 

In the meeting, which was attended by Faramarz Asadi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, views were exchanged on developing bilateral relations, especially in the areas of trade exchange and facilitating tourist travel between the two sides.
 

The delegation thanked the Kurdistan Regional Government for its cooperation and preparations in welcoming Iranian pilgrims traveling to the holy sites in Iraq.
