Erbil... Farewell ceremony for the US Consul General

Tonight, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, participated in a farewell ceremony for the US Consul General in Erbil.

The event was organized by the US Consulate and was attended by a large number of political figures, representatives of Kurdish parties, several other senior officials from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, as well as representatives, consuls, and envoys from other countries.
 

During the event, the Governor of Erbil expressed his gratitude for the efforts and hard work of the US Consul General in developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United States during his tenure in the capital, Erbil. He also wished him success in his future endeavors.
