Erbil... Receiving a Delegation of UAE Businessmen and Investors

Today, Monday, November 24, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, received a delegation of businessmen and investors from the United Arab Emirates who visited the Erbil Governorate Diwan.
 

The Governor of Erbil, while warmly welcoming them, referred to the historical relationship between the Kurdistan Region and the United Arab Emirates and expressed his appreciation for the continuous cooperation and support of the UAE Red Crescent and the UAE Consulate for coordination and implementation of humanitarian programs, exchange of governmental experiences, sharing their expertise with Kurdistan Region officials, and building human capacities.

The Governor of Erbil reiterated that there is a very good understanding between both sides to implement several strategic projects in the capital, Erbil, which, upon completion, will move Erbil into a very advanced stage.
 

The delegation of UAE businessmen and investors expressed their happiness with the warm reception by the Governor of Erbil and highlighted the purpose of their visit, which is to undertake a number of investment projects in the capital, Erbil. The selection of Erbil is based on the fact that this city is witnessing qualitative progress and is enjoying peace and stability.

The Governor of Erbil, within the framework of the authorized laws of the Region, expressed his readiness to provide all facilities to the delegation and wished them a happy stay in Erbil.
