Erbil... Erbil Governor Oversees "Erbil" Campaign for Collecting Aid and Assistance for Our Brothers and Sisters in Rojava (Western Kurdistan)
This evening, Friday, January 23, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, oversaw the "Erbil" campaign at Shanadar Park for collecting aid and assistance for our brothers and sisters in Rojava (Western Kurdistan). Thousands of Kurdish citizens have been displaced to safe areas of Rojava due to Syrian attacks on their regions and are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
During his visit, the Governor of Erbil reiterated that it is not unusual for the people of Erbil to be generous towards the poor, content, and never hesitate in voluntary work and aiding their brothers and sisters in Rojava.
After reviewing the aid provided by citizens, the Governor of Erbil emphasized that this campaign is for assisting the displaced and helping our brothers and sisters in Rojava.
As the people of Erbil are always generous and compassionate, through this campaign, we will collect the most aid and assistance for our brothers and sisters and deliver these donations to their intended destination.
