Message from the Governor of Erbil on the Occasion of the Hijri New Year

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
 

On the occasion of the advent of the new Hijri year and the commemoration of the historic migration of the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we extend our congratulations to all Muslims worldwide, in Iraq and Kurdistan generally, and in the capital Erbil specifically. This blessed occasion was a great turning point in human history, bringing with it a message of peace, harmony, justice, and forgiveness.

We hope that the arrival of this new year brings goodness and blessings to our people and further deepens the spirit of peaceful coexistence among all different religious and ethnic components.

We pray to Almighty Allah that this blessed occasion marks the beginning of the end of misfortunes and the realization of tranquility, stability, and continuous development for the city of Erbil and all of Kurdistan.
