Prime Minister Visits the Head of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the World

This evening, Tuesday, June 16, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, visited Mar Yousif Chaldean Cathedral in Ankawa district. He was received by Patriarch Mar Paulos III Nona, Head of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the World, along with a number of religious figures, prominent personalities, and Christian parliamentarians.
 

The Prime Minister welcomed Patriarch Nona to the Kurdistan Region and congratulated him on assuming his new role, expressing the Kurdistan Regional Government's support for the success of his mission.

The Head of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the World thanked the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government for his visit and support. Patriarch Nona also praised the projects and reforms of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Prime Minister, stating, "You are a man of action."
