Today, Monday, October 26, 2026, a networking forum for project owners was held under the framework of the "Employment Prospects for Socio-economic Integration of Refugees, IDPs and Host Communities in Iraq (EPSI)" program.

The event was attended by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Falah Hassan, Head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations; and several other organizational representatives.

The program is implemented by the Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH). During the event, several panel discussions were held where participants discussed their projects and explored ways to advance the EPSI program's objectives, aiming to ensure the active economic and social participation of refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities in Iraq.

The Governor of Erbil commended the organizers and partner organizations, expressing his best wishes for the success of the participating project owners.

It is worth noting that the primary objective of this specific gathering was to create a networking platform to exchange ideas, build communication bridges, and foster commercial cooperation among owners of small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly those led by innovative women and youth.
