Erbil... Soon laying the foundation stone for 4100 housing units for low-income people

The Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, announced today, Sunday, November 13, 2022. That soon the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government will lay the foundation stone for 4100 housing units to be built in Erbil for renters and low-income residents.
The governor of Erbil said in a press statement that  will lay the foundation stone for more than 4100 housing units for tenants and low-income citizens within the Erbil governorate area who have submitted their applications to the Investment Authority, indicating that the land has been allocated for the project in two distinct locations between 120 meter road and 150 meter road.
Omed Khoshnaw stressed that "the citizens' requests will be sorted through a specialized committee, and then through a fair lottery, the names of those covered and who will benefit from the project will be announced."
The regional government had announced earlier its intention to build 20,000 housing units in the region for people with limited income, who live on rent, and that "the project will be apartments, at low prices and long-term installments, and the implementation of the project will begin in all the provinces of the region."
