New Turkish Visa Application Center Opens in Erbil

As part of ongoing efforts to facilitate the visa application process and expand services, a new Turkish visa application center was opened in Erbil today, Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The opening ceremony was attended by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Aydin Maruf, Regional Minister for Component Affairs; Erman Topcu, Turkish Consul General in Erbil; the Head of Erbil Municipality; the Head of the Turkey Desk at the Department of Foreign Relations; and several business figures.
 

The primary objective of this center is to provide services related to Turkish visa applications and to streamline the process for citizens.
The opening of this center in Erbil represents a new step toward organizing the visa application process and enhancing consular services for the citizens of the Kurdistan Region.
