American Basket Market Opened

On Wednesday evening, November 26, 2025, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Wendy Green, U.S. Consul General in Erbil, Dr. Mohammed Shukri, Head of the Investment Board, Sarwar Hawari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade, and a number of other officials, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and citizens, the American Basket Supermarket was opened in a ceremony.
 

The Governor of Erbil, while congratulating the supervisors and workers of the market and supporting the work and livelihoods of the citizens, closely inspected each section and followed up on how products are stored, the prices of local and imported goods, and the market's activity, wishing them success in their work.
