The foundation stone of opening and gravel layering of the 60-meter road and paving several streets in Baranati neighborhood was laid.

Today Sunday, January 1, 2023. Under the supervision of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, in the presence of Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor, Nabaz Abdul Hamid, Erbil center Mayor, Tola Mahdi Khoshnaw, Director of Bahirka subdistrict, Deputy Director General of Municipalities, Director of Bahirka Municipality and a number of other engineers and project supervisors and citizens. The foundation stone of the projects (construction and paving of a 20-meter road in Baranati neighborhood, opening and gravel layering of 60-meter road in Bahirka subdistrict) was laid at a cost of (601 million and 654 thousand dinars) on the development budget of Erbil governorate, the project will be implemented in a contractual manner and the completion period is (240) days.

In the ceremony, the governor congratulated the residents of Bahirka subdistrict for the implementation of these projects. He stressed that on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the projects will start according to priority in places that have less access to prosperity and services.

The Governor said: “Last year we implemented a large number of service projects in our governorate, and this year's program and plan on the development budget, Erbil governorate, revenue of the presidency of Erbil Municipality, general directorate of municipalities and special budget have drawn up good plans to start implementing more projects, we hope to be able to serve more and better citizens of our governorate this year with God's support”.
