Erbil Governor laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 100 meters road in Erbil

Today, Sunday, January 15, 2023. The foundation stone of the 100-meter road construction project between the 5th and 8th neighborhoods of Hasarokan was laid. The construction project  will be implemented at a cost of more than (one billion) dinars on the development budget of Erbil governorate.

Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the construction of a 100-meter road between 5th and 8th Hasarokan neighborhoods, said: “We are pleased to lay the foundation stone of an important project in the border of the 4th Municipality of Erbil, which is a 100-meter road, the first phase of the road is two kilometers, starting from the main street of Kasnazan and will be implemented at a cost of (1 billion 74 million) dinars on the budget of Erbil governorate Development and will be completed within 175 days.”

He also said: “With the completion of the road, the residents of the 5th Hasarokan neighborhood will benefit from it at the same time, it reduces congestion on the Kornish."

The governor explained that the road is 100 meters and two-sided, but in the first phase, one side will be built, and the second phase will start in the future.
