Istanbul... The second session of the meeting of Mayors for Peace and Cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa

Today, Friday, December 13, 2024, within the framework of the Mayors meeting for Peace and Cooperation in the Middle East and North Africa, with the participation of Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, the second session of the meeting commenced.
 

It was dedicated to ‘the best practices of city diplomacy for peace and cooperation,’ and on this topic, speeches were presented by the mayors of Oman, Rabat, Mersin, and Selfate, as well as the President of the Association of Palestinian Local Authorities (APLA). Afterwards, the representatives of the cities participated in discussions and exchanged their views on the matter.
