The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Heads to Baghdad

Today, Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister, Mr. Masrour Barzani led by a high-level government delegation has left for Baghdad.

The prime minister will meet with the four Iraqi presidencies, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mohamed Al-Halbousi and President of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan.

The meetings will discuss the resolution of outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, on the basis of the constitution and the agreement of the parties to form the government and the ministerial agenda. They will also discuss the development of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in order to face problems and obstacles and solve them.
