President Nechirvan Barzani receives Dr. Fariad Fazil Omar

On Monday, January 16, 2023. President Nechirvan Barzani received Dr. Faryad Fazil Omar, President of the Kurdish Studies Institute in Berlin, who was awarded the German President's Excellence Award at the end of last year.

President Nechirvan Barzani congratulated Dr. Fariad Fazil Omar and reiterated his appreciation for the hard work and service of the Kurds abroad in any field, their mark is visible and are a source of pride for Kurdistan. He also appreciated his services in the academic field, Kurdish language, literature and culture and wished him success.

For his part, Mr. Fariad Fazil Omar expressed his pleasure and appreciation for the welcome and meeting with President Nechirvan Barzani and stressed on continuing his work and academic service and promoting the Kurdish language and culture.
