Erbil... Antimicrobial Resistance Week Scientific Workshop

This morning Monday, November 20, 2023, in the presence of Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Deputy Ministry of Health, Director General of Health of Erbil and a significant number of specialists and doctors, a workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Week was held.
 

The workshop agenda underlined that antimicrobial resistance is one of the largest challenges not just in the Kurdistan Region, but also globally, according to the World Health Organization, and that scientific research is critical.

In this regard, the Kurdistan Regional Government has given the health sector top priority and places a high value on this public sector that touches people's lives.
As a result, it is critical for the health sector to consistently raise awareness about the significance of this issue, whether on special occasions or in everyday life.
