Erbil.. Holding an international conference on youth issues

Today, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the Peace and Freedom Organization organized an international conference on (Youth - Academia- Civil Society - Peace) under the supervision and participation of the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, and in the presence of Barzan Mintak, head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations in Kurdistan, with the participation of an official delegation from the Spanish region of Catalonia.
 

During his address at the conference, the Governor of Erbil expressed gratitude to the Peace and Freedom Organization for organizing the event. He extended a warm welcome to the Catalan delegation and commended the conference's focus on peace, education, showcasing capabilities, and enhancing the skills of youth. Emphasizing the critical nature of youth issues, he highlighted the pivotal role that the youth can play as valuable assets in society's development across diverse domains.
 

It’s worth mentioning that the conference seeks to deliberate on peace, coexistence, cooperation, and coordination within the realms of higher education, sports, and civil society. A primary focus is on fostering friendship among nations, with a particular emphasis on nurturing connections between the youth of the Kurdistan Region and Catalonia. Specialized experts contributed to numerous discussion panels addressing these pertinent issues.
