The Governor of Erbil welcomed a delegation from the Accepting Others Organization (AOO) of South Korea

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, received at the governorate’s office a delegation from the Accepting Others Organization (AOO) of South Korea.

At the meeting, the Governor of Erbil welcomed the visiting delegation and emphasized the importance of religious coexistence and tolerance in the Kurdistan Region. He underscored that the acceptance of different religious, ethnic, and sectarian groups has been instrumental in making the Kurdistan Region, especially Erbil, a notable model for the Middle East and beyond.
 

During another segment of the meeting, the discussion turned to the progress of numerous service projects. The visiting delegation articulated their objective for the visit: to construct a park and playground for children in Erbil. In response, the Governor of Erbil voiced his endorsement and willingness to collaborate, offering full support and assistance to ensure the successful execution of the project.
 

In conclusion, the guest delegation extended their gratitude to the Governor of Erbil for the gracious reception and conveyed their admiration for the peaceful environment, religious and ethnic harmony, and overall spirit of acceptance in the Kurdistan Region.
