President Barzani inaugurates the Erbil International Book Fair

President Massoud Barzani inaugurated the 16th Erbil International Book Fair on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, with the participation of 300 publishing houses from 22 countries.

President Barzani explored the exhibition halls, where he examined the participating publishing houses and selected several books to purchase, showcasing his deep passion for reading and his broader interest in culture. This year's event anticipates high visitor turnout, especially with discounts of up to 50% on book prices.

The exhibition, open daily from 10 am to 8 pm, will run until April 27th.
