Erbil Governorate Delegation Visits Diyarbakir for Participation in Mesopotamia Tourism Exhibition

On Monday, April 29, 2024, a delegation led by Erbil Governor Omed Khushnaw arrived in Turkey from Erbil Governorate. The delegation included Gaylan Haji Saeed, President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dler Muhammad, Director General of Tourism, Karzan Abdul Hadi, head of Erbil Municipality, Hemin Murad, Director General of Agriculture, and several members of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Investors. They came to participate in the Mesopotamia Tourism Exhibition, scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 4.

The delegation was received by Omar Farouk, Chairman, and members of the Jazira Region Chamber of Commerce, along with the Director of Customs at the Khabur International Border Gate.

It's worth mentioning that the Erbil Governorate delegation is slated to take part in the exhibition organized by the Diyarbakir Governorate, Municipality, and Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which will feature participation from numerous countries in the region. The goal is to showcase advancements in the tourism sector, as well as the security and stability in the Kurdistan Region, aiming to encourage Turkish investors to invest not only in the Kurdistan Region as a whole but specifically in Erbil.
