The Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, received the new Egyptian Consul in Erbil

Today, Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the governorate’s office. The Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, received the new Egyptian Consul in Erbil, Mahmoud Farouk Amer.

During the meeting, the Governor of Erbil congratulated the Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt on assuming his new position, wishing him success and expressing full support for the success of his mission. He highlighted the historical ties between the Kurdish and Egyptian peoples and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Egypt in economic and cultural fields.
 

For his part, the Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Erbil expressed his happiness at visiting the Governor of Erbil and working in the city. He affirmed his country’s readiness to continue developing and strengthening relations with the Kurdistan Region.
