French Book Corner Inaugurates at Kurdistan University of Erbil
Today, Monday, December 2, 2024, a special French book corner (France Corner) was inaugurated at Kurdistan University library in the capital Erbil, with the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Gohdar Shekho, Supervisor of the Independent Administration of Zakho, Falah Mustafa, Advisor to the President of Kurdistan Region, yann Braem, French Consul General in Erbil, along with the university president, faculty members, students, and book readers, aimed at strengthening and enriching culture and expanding the scope of scientific and literary activities.
Following the inauguration by attendees, the Governor of Erbil, while expressing appreciation for opening this corner, hoped it would be beneficial for students and praised Kurdistan University's role as an academic institution in prioritizing books and scientific resources.
Noting that this section of the library, which aims to provide information and scientific resources and study courses, contains dozens of books in various fields of science and knowledge as an information center, becoming an important resource for university students.
