The Governor of Erbil arrives in Tehran

This evening, Sunday, April 27, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran and was warmly received by senior representatives from Iran's Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, the Deputy Governor of Tehran, and other high-ranking officials.

The Governor is accompanied by Shakir Hussein, Director General of KRG Relations with the Republic of Iran, and Masoud Batelli, head of the Haji Omaran customs office.
During his visit, he is scheduled to meet with the governors of Tehran, Qazvin, Zanjan, West Azerbaijan, and Urmia to discuss strengthening ties and exploring new avenues of cooperation.
