Tehran... Governor of Erbil Visits the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iran

On Monday, April 28, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, in Tehran, accompanied by Shakir Hussein, Head of Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Masoud Batli, Head of the Haji Omaran International Border Crossing, visited the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iran and was received by Salam Arif Rushdi, Deputy Representative, and the staff of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iran.
 

In the meeting, the Governor of Erbil praised the role of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iran in developing the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran. He also highly valued the role of the Regional Government Representation regarding the issue of Kurdish students and the citizens who visit that country.
 

For their part, the Deputy Representative and the staff of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in Iran thanked the Governor of Erbil and expressed their happiness with his visit.
