Zanjan... The Governor of Erbil visits the 'Iran Transfo Motor' company's factory for the production of electrical transformers
On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 30, 2025, as part of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran and aiming to gain firsthand knowledge of the operations and products of local companies, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, visited the 'Iran Transfo Motor' company's factory for the production of electrical transformers.
He was accompanied by Dr. Narges Moradkhani, Deputy Governor of Zanjan for Economic Affairs; Shakir Hussein, Head of Relations between the Kurdistan Region and Iran; Masoud Batili, Director of the Haji Omaran International Border Crossing; Mehdi Sadeghi, the company's General Manager; and a number of other supervising engineers. This factory is the largest and oldest of its kind in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
After the Governor of Erbil visited each of the sections and all the factory's production lines, he inquired closely about the workflow and the type and quantity of the factory's products. He also expressed his appreciation to the company's General Manager, the supervising engineers, managers, and workers.
Additionally, in a meeting with the company's General Manager and engineers, he provided a summary of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, explaining that its goal is to strengthen industrial and trade relations. He added that their visits to the cities aim for the further advancement, development, and expansion of these ties.
