Erbil… Tribal Leaders, Figures from Southern and Central Iraq Visit Citadel

On Sunday afternoon, May 25, 2025, a number of princes, tribal leaders, and personalities from the tribes of the provinces of southern and central Iraq, who were guests of President Barzani, visited Erbil Citadel. They were welcomed by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and toured several historical and cultural sites on the Citadel.
 


During the visit, the guest delegation praised the stability and developments of the Kurdistan Region and expressed their pleasure in visiting the capital Erbil. They also highly valued the work and projects of renovating and preserving the ancient and historical sites, especially Erbil Citadel, which is a world heritage site. 


For his part, the Governor of Erbil warmly welcomed the guests and hoped that they would spend their time in the capital Erbil comfortably and at ease.
