On World Blood Donor Day, a Special Ceremony Was Organized

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, and in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil; Dr. Dlovan Mohammed, Director General of Erbil Health; and a number of other doctors and health personnel, the Ashti Health Organization, in coordination with the Blood Bank, held a special ceremony to mark the occasion.

During the ceremony, the Governor of Erbil, while commending the organizers and supervisors of the event, described World Blood Donor Day as an important day. He also highly praised the role of those individuals who, as a humanitarian act, donate their blood and, with their own blood, save human lives from death.

It is noteworthy that June 14th is World Blood Donor Day, and every year on this day, individuals who donate blood to those in need, thereby saving human lives and spirits from death through their blood, are honored.
