Prime Minister Inaugurates International Real Estate Investment Exhibition
The Prime Minister inaugurated the sections of the exhibition, which will last for four days and feature the participation of 280 local and foreign companies.
In a press statement, the Prime Minister indicated that every year we see the number of participating foreign companies and countries in exhibitions increasing.
He attributed this to the stability of the Kurdistan Region and the trust and confidence people have in the Kurdistan Region. He expressed hope that it will move towards even greater progress year by year.
The Prime Minister also reiterated that the participation of experts from other countries in the development of the Kurdistan Region is important. "Our country is moving towards a better and more advanced stage, and it has mutual benefits."
The Prime Minister also emphasized the government's focus on diversifying the Kurdistan Region's economy, especially giving importance to the technology sector, which is one of the main areas of government interest. Regarding the Kurdistan Region's discussions with the federal government, the Prime Minister said; "Our delegations are currently in continuous discussions with the federal government delegation on non-oil revenues and are close to reaching a final stage of understanding.
Regarding the resumption of oil exports, the Kurdistan Region no longer has any issues, neither with the producing companies nor with the federal government. What remains is a point between the companies and the federal government. The companies are currently demanding guarantees for the continuous provision of their financial entitlements."
