Open Session Held with Delegation of Northern Kurdistan Municipalities

This evening, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, participated in an open discussion with a delegation of women from the municipalities of Northern Kurdistan.
 

In the session, which was attended by a number of female officials from administrative institutions in Erbil, along with women from the municipalities of Diyarbakır, Nusaybin, and Sanlıurfa in Northern Kurdistan, they discussed women's leadership and emphasized the leadership role of women and the characteristics of women's success.
 

The Governor of Erbil expressed his happiness at this participation and exchanged his observations and opinions in the session. He also referred to the influential role of Kurdish women in undertaking administrative duties and their participation in political organizations. For their part, the delegation of women from Northern Kurdistan municipalities thanked the organization of the session and highly appreciated all the facilities and coordination provided by the Governor of Erbil.

It is worth mentioning that the Board of the Kurdistan Parliamentarians' Union, the Director of EGCC in Erbil Governorate, the Qaimqam of Khabat, the Qaimqam of Bnaslawa, and the Mayors of Erbil's Fifth and Sixth Municipalities, and the Director of Kourgusk sub-district were present at the session and meeting.
