In Daratu, the foundation stone for the construction and paving of two streets, a 20-meter road, and a bridge was laid

On Thursday, March 9, 2023, in the framework of delivering service projects in Erbil governorate, the foundation stone of the project of construction and paving of two streets and a 20-meter street in the neighborhood of the Harem, as well as the construction of a bridge that connects the two neighborhoods of Brayati and Zhen neighborhood of Daratu Subdistrict, was laid under the supervision and presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, in a ceremony at a cost of (620 million dinars) on the governorate development budget.

The project will be implemented contractually, with a completion date of (210) days.

The ceremony was attended by Masoud Karash, Deputy Governor, Sartip Khalid, Director General of the municipality, and the director of Daratu municipality, as well as project engineers and supervisors.

"This project will not only reduce floods, but will also facilitate citizen movement; we hope that the project will be completed by the implementing company within the time frame specified," the Governor said.
