Erbil... The First International Comprehensive Catheterization Congress (ICIC_2026) Held

This evening, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the presence of Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Ahmad Kani, Head of the Studies and Development Department of the KDP, Dr. Dlovan Mohammed, Director General of Health in Erbil, and a large number of doctors and specialists from Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world, the First International Comprehensive Catheterization Congress (ICIC_2026) was held.
 

During the congress, numerous doctors and specialists from across the globe presented several specialized workshops and held discussions regarding interventional radiology without surgery for the heart, brain, and spine, focusing on treating chronic pain.
 

For his part, the Governor of Erbil highly valued this important health event in Erbil, which was held to advance the treatment of chronic diseases. He commended the participating doctors and specialists and the organizers of the conference, expressing hope that the recommendations and suggestions from the conference would contribute to the advancement of the health sector in the Kurdistan Region generally and in the capital Erbil specifically.
