The Governor of Erbil receives students from German-Austrian universities

Today, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw received a group of students from German-Austrian universities in his office.
 

During the meeting, the governor discussed the crucial contribution of universities, colleges, academic, and scientific centers to societal development. Emphasizing the active role of students, he underscored the importance of religious and ethnic coexistence in the Kurdistan Region, especially in Erbil. The governor highlighted Erbil's historical significance as a model of brotherhood, unity, and harmonious coexistence. Additionally, he outlined the governorate’s service projects across various sectors as part of its plan to benefit the citizens.
 

In response, the students expressed gratitude to the governor for the warm welcome and conveyed their joy regarding the unity, religious and ethnic coexistence among all communities, as well as the progress, peace, and security established in Erbil.
