Ceremony for the Announcement of the Global Civil Initiative Research Center Organization Held

On Monday evening, December 15, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, participated in the ceremony for the announcement of the Global Civil Initiative Research Center, which is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization that works as a cultural center for coordinating and bringing global civilizations closer together.
 

At the ceremony, which was attended by the Vice President of the Region, a high-level delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, China's Deputy Foreign Minister, the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations, and a large number of government officials, heads and representatives of Kurdish political parties and entities, and the Chinese Consul in Erbil, emphasis was placed on strengthening coordination and interaction among all global civilizations through positive human values to help, bring closer, and find common solutions to ensure security, stability, and human development.

For his part, the Governor of Erbil, while congratulating the president and members of the organization, whose general headquarters is in Erbil city, wished them success in carrying out humanitarian work and developing civilization.
