Governors of Erbil and Duhok Visit Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality

On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and Dr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, visited the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and were welcomed by Ayse Serra Bucak kucuk and Dogan Hatun, co-mayors of Diyarbakır (Amed) Metropolitan Municipality.

In a meeting, while emphasizing the strengthening of relations, they expressed hope that the social, commercial, diplomatic, and tourism relations between the three cities (Erbil, Duhok, and Amed) would further promote brotherhood and harmony among them and be further developed.

For their part, the co-mayors of Diyarbakır expressed their pleasure at the visit of the Governors of Erbil and Duhok, affirmed the development of relations, and demonstrated their readiness for all cooperation.
