Governors of Erbil and Duhok Meet with Adana Mayor and Several Parliamentarians

On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, and Dr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, met with the Mayor of Adana and several parliamentarians on the sidelines of the "Social Peace and Freedom Forum" in Diyarbakır (Amed).
 

During the meeting, they thoroughly discussed developing and strengthening bilateral relations.
 

Another focus of the meeting was deliberating the issue of establishing a direct flight route between Erbil and Adana, with the aim of facilitating citizen travel and further promoting commercial and tourism exchange between both sides.
