Shaqlawa... Erbil Governor, Accompanied by Baghdad Governor, Visits Shaqlawa bazaar

This evening, Friday, June 19, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Atwan Al-Atwani, the Governor of Baghdad, visited Shaqlawa Bazaar.

During this visit, the guests closely observed the Bazaar conditions and commercial activity and engaged in discussions with a number of shopkeepers and citizens.
They also listened to the opinions and demands of the local people and emphasized the importance of supporting economic and commercial activities.

Omed Khoshnaw highlighted the importance of Shaqlawa as one of Erbil Governorate's tourist cities and stated that efforts to improve services and create a suitable environment for the revitalization of the shopkeepers' market will continue.
