Kurdistan TV Orchestra Held an Artistic Concert on the Occasion of World Music Day

This evening, Sunday, June 21, 2026, on the occasion of World Music Day, the Kurdistan TV Orchestra organized a special artistic concert in Shanadar Park. Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil; Sirwan Osman, Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil; and a large number of citizens and music enthusiasts participated in the event.

During the concert, the Kurdistan TV Orchestra presented a number of original Kurdish and international musical pieces, which were highly praised by the attendees.

The aim of this activity was to highlight the role of music and art and to spread a message of peace and harmony. World Music Day is celebrated annually on June 21st with various activities and concerts in many countries around the world.
