The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has suspended the gas system

After several incidents in the use of gas systems and the disasters caused, for the safety of citizens and investigate the causes of the system and its consequences
In a telephone conversation with Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Prime Minister Mr. Masrour Barzani ordered the suspension of all work on the gas system and it should not be used in any way.
The Prime Minister also instructed all parties to follow up and investigate.
Therefore, as the governor of Erbil, while emphasizing the decisions of today's meeting, we ask the citizens of Erbil Governorate, stop all work with the gas system and cooperate with the Civil Defense teams, Municipal Police, Oil and Minerals, Governor's Office teams and Crisis Centers.
