The foundation stone of several development projects was laid in Ankawa District at a cost of 1 billion and 30 million dinars
Today, Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw, Deputy Governor, Massoud Karash, Nabaz Abdulhamid, Erbil Central Mayor, Rami Nuri, Mayor of Ankawa District, Sartip Khalid, Director General of Municipalities and a number of other officials of the region, the foundation stone of the second phase of the project (installation of Kirbstone and construction of pipeline sewerage for sector 132 of Ankawa District and construction of sewerage and streets of Ankawa district) was laid at a cost of (1 billion and 30 million dinars), which is implemented on a contract basis.
The governor of Erbil, while congratulating the residents of Ankawa district, said: "We emphasize the attention of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the support of Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government for Ankawa district. He said: "The foundation stone of these projects will be laid in the next few days after the Prime Minister approved the allocation of (5 billion and 800 million) dinars for the implementation of several important projects in Ankawa.”.
He also said: "In addition to the projects that have been carried out in this district this year, for next year within the framework of the program and plan of development projects in Erbil governorate and the special budget of the governorate and 15% revenue of the General Directorate of Municipalities, we will take a more serious and better look at the Ankawa district”.
