The governor of Erbil visited the second phase of the renovation and paving of several local streets in Salahaddin neighborhood, which has started to be implemented at a cost of about (170 million dinars)

On Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw, accompanied by Deputy Governor Massoud Karash, Head of the Erbil Municipality, Abdulwahid Ahmad, Director of Municipality 2 and a number of other engineers and supervisors, In order to closely observe how the works are being carried out, he visited the second phase of the renovation, concreting and paving of several local streets in Salahaddin neighborhood. The project is being implemented in the form of contracting at a cost of (169 million 260 thousand) dinars from the budget of Erbil governorate Development Projects.
 

After visiting the project, the governor thanked the engineers, workers and supervisors of the project, congratulated the residents of Salahaddin neighborhood on the occasion of the start of this project and said: “ Our desire to deliver services to this neighborhood and all other neighborhoods and places in our governorate is much greater”.

He also said: “Last year, we carried out a large number of projects in the governorate within the framework of the development projects of Erbil governorate and the additional budget and the revenue of 15% of the Presidency of Erbil Municipality and the special budget for projects. This year, under the guidance of Mr. Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, we hope to be able to deliver services and development projects without discrimination inside and outside the city equally to everywhere, especially poor neighborhoods, areas with the least access to services and development”.
