Message from President Barzani

On Saturday evening, December 21, 2023, President Masoud Barzani issued a message on Twitter on the occasion of the recognition of the genocide of the Yazidi Kurds by the German Parliament.

“The decision by Bundestag to recognize the genocide against the Yezidi Kurds is a highly treasured decree. We reiterate our gratitude to Germany and call upon our other Western allies to engage in similar actions in recognizing such atrocities as acts of genocide,” Barzani Wrote.
