Erbil… Opening special shelter for homeless children

The General Directorate of Social Care and Development in Erbil, inaugurated a special shelter for homeless children aged between zero to four years, on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the presence of the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, Safeen Dizayee, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Regional Government, Aydin Maruf Selim, Minister of State for Minority Affairs, and Dr. Mohammad Shukri, Chairman of the Investment Board, the Turkish Consul in Erbil, and the family of Hajj Faydallah.
 

In his speech, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw said, “These children, due to the circumstances facing their families, need this special place.”
 

The Governor of Erbil praised this humanitarian idea and everyone who contributed to its construction, which was very important for sheltering orphans in Erbil. He also referred to the terrorist act carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which led to the martyrdom of the child, Zhina Peshraw Dizayee, Whose birthday falls today, and a special ceremony is scheduled to be held today at the place where she was targeted with her family.
 

He added, "This project is humanitarian, and there are many other projects in the Region's Government program, some of which have already begun implementation, and all projects will be completed as soon as possible."
