The President of the Republic of Armenia departs from Erbil

On the night of Thursday, February 29, 2024, President Vahagn Khachaturyan departed from the capital, Erbil, concluding his visit to the Kurdistan Region. He received a farewell at Erbil International Airport from Vice President of the Kurdistan Region Mustafa Sayed Qadir, Fawzi Hariri, President of Diwan, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, and Minister of Transportations and communications Anw Jawhar.
 

During his visit to the Kurdistan Region, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, met with President Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani. He explored Erbil Citadel and visited the Holy Cross Church, which serves the Armenian Orthodox community in Ankawa District.
 

Prior to his departure from Erbil, President Vahagn Khachaturyan expressed gratitude to President Barzani, the Kurdistan Region's President, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government for the region's progress, prosperity, and the prevailing peace and harmonious coexistence.
